MAP provides scholarships to families who need financial assistance in obtaining intensive developmental services for their children with autism spectrum disorders. There are two scholarship opportunities available through MAP:

1) MAP provides scholarships for families interested in participating in one of the Michigan P.L.A.Y. Projects

2) MAP provides general scholarship funds for families seeking developmental interventions for their child with ASD, including:

  • Occupational therapy
  • Speech and language therapy
  • Therapeutic summer camp enrollment
  • Other developmental services

Please note that MAP funds do not pay for therapeutic equipment or supplies.

To be considered for a MAP scholarship, families must fill out a scholarship application form. Applications will remain confidential and will be reviewed only by MAP board members. Families will be contacted within 14 business days from receipt of application regarding the status of their request.
